Fisherpeople from all the coastal states came to Delhi on 3^rd Dec. for the culmination of Machchimar Adhikar Rashtriya Abhiyan throiugh a mass dharna in front of the Parliament. Memorandum containing the demands of the fishworkers were submitted to the Agriculture, Labour, Environment, and to Prime Minister. Public meeting held at the Constitution Club on 5^th. Presented  our demands at the national gathering if the steering Committee of  Central Trade Unions and obtained their support for our demands.

Union Labour Minister visited the Dharna Pandal and addressed the agitating fishers. Defence minister received a delegation of NFF at his residences and gave a hearing ti the demands and assured his support for the same.
